I missed you all! Hope to be able to have more time online to post here more often I would like to ask you all... do you have any ideas on gifts I could make myself for my loved ones? My folks are not materialistic, they do not expect gifts or anything, but I want to give them presents. Just... can not afford this year (had extra things to spend on this year) to buy them something. I always buy something simple, anyway. But still, my budget is too tight for that too. Thank G_d they appreciate big time handmade, personal gifts. But what I do not know is what to do for them! I don't want to frame pictures... have done that before... pics are out of the question Any ideas on simple stuff I can do? The Holidays are approaching so fast!

One of the most appreciated thing I have done for peopleis to make them a memory book. Just ask friends and relatives for a special memory of time spent with the person. You can also ask for photos. Handiwork is not my thing so this was perfect for me. sometimes there is something you can do for a person rather than giving a thing. Don't know if this has been any help, but it is nice to be able to "talk" to you again.

I have plenty of pics and some of these people have a lot of them too, but the way they could be presented could be the "IT" thing about the gift! Thank you! I will do that!!

If you need more ideas, Elena, then go with whatever your talents are. I have suggestiongs if you're good at art, if you're good at writing, if you're good at crochet, for example. It's good to see you here.
