When I said he was ethical, I meant he didn't screw any of his clints (except on one show) and he was not an ambulance chaser.
My favorite show was probably his last ever made (before his return series began). This one had Dick Clark as the killer, but it also had the entire staff/crew on the show with brief apperances including the originator of the series playing the judge at the end. My favorite judge on the series was the guy who played the bad person on a lot of 3 Stooges (McDonald). The Perry Mason show was truely during what was the golden age days of TV.
